William Saroyan s style inspired generations of writers looking to convey the human condition in unconventional ways. He published hundreds of short stories, many novels, wrote and produced Broadway plays, worked in film and television, and was a true icon of his generation. Always interested in American culture and inspired by his Armenian heritage, William Saroyan laid himself out for all of the world to see. He has left a legacy in his art that will carry forward to inspire future generations everywhere as we embrace his ideals and recognize our own innate goodness
